World Poetry Day

Year 2 have been learning some animal poems and reciting them with actions. On Thursday this week, they visited Lindisfarne Care Home and performed their poems for the residents.

World Skipping Day

Today it is world skipping day! We have had the skipping ropes available to use, every playtime today! We loved having a go, including Mrs Pattison!

Beanstalk update.

Today we checked on our beanstalks and measured how much they had grown. We were amazed at how well they are all doing!

Getting the Measure of Maths.

In Year 1, we have been measuring with non standard units. The children have been using cubes, lolly sticks and other resources to measure items around the classroom.

Learning outdoors
