Year 2 did a lovely Liturgy today for the Year 1 and Reception children to celebrate the beginning of Advent.
Today the whole school walked around the yard to support people who have to leave their country to find food and a home. Well done everyone!

Ten Year 1 pupils went to St. Mary's Cathedral to celebrate mass with schools from across the diocese. Two children presented our gift of £150 for St. Cuthbert's Care, raised at our sponsored event.
Now that the lovely weather has arrived, a quick reminder to take extra care in the sunshine: Water bottles, sun cream and hats are needed please.

Mr. Monaghan, a member of the parish SVP, came to our meeting at school. We gave him a cheque for £50, which we had raised by selling bracelets and table decorations we had made, at the Christmas Fayre.
